PREPARATION
Yes, you can.
As long as you can ride a bicycle with any existing health condition or disability you can participate in THE DOWNHILL BIKE RIDE. Please, let us know beforehand of any existing condition. Then we are able to amend the bike ride and / or bicycle to your needs.
Furthermore, you can cycle as much as you like. Our support vehicles are always with the group. We will brief you before every section and you can decide if you’d like to cycle the whole section or jump into the minibus for a couple of minutes.
“GUIDED WALKS” are offered for all levels. You can chose a walk based on your experience level.
If you’d like to have a nice and easy day out we recommend the walk around the “GUADALEST RESERVOIR”. This can be adapted to your needs and the first half can even be done in a wheelchair. We would then pick you up in the village called “Beniarda”.

- Some cash or a credit-/debit-card for lunch and drinks after the ride.
- Passport / Photo-ID or copy – Carrying an ID is obligatory in Spain at all times.
- EHIC / E11 European Healthcare Card or travel insurance documents
- Clothing according to the activity and season.
”THE DOWNHILL BIKE RIDE” runs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, all year round. At peak holiday times we normally go out every days except on Sundays.
Our “GUIDED WALKS” operate from October to May normally on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday.
Please, contact us, if you are coming as a group > 4 people and would like to join us on a day which doesn’t show availability on our booking page.

We as well offer special excursions for groups. Please, check-out our “Tours for Groups” section.
For more than 4 people we are as well able to operate “The Downhill Bike Ride” on a requested date by your group.

If customers are staying within the covered areas, the pick up is guaranteed when the tour includes it.
List of covered areas: Benidorm, La Cala, Albir, Alfaz del Pi, La Nucia, Villajoiosa, Orxeta, Finestrat and Altea.
In case customers are staying outside of the covered area, they could either arrange their own transport and meet us within the covered area – bus / tram station or designated meeting points -, or could book the transport with us. Different surcharges apply for pick-ups from Calpe and the Alicante Area.
If you are staying in the Alicante Area and would like to come on a guided walk, the transport is included for the following walks – Cabeço d’Or, Migjorn and Menejador.
If you are staying in the Calpe and would like to come on a guided walk, the transport is included for the following walks – Sierra de Bernia, Olta, Fontilles, Coll de Rates and Montgo.
